What are The negative impacts against the Sahara Desert and what are ways that we can prevent these?
Not only the animals are important to us in the Sahara region, but the land too. The land is home to over 1,000 prehistoric carvings which are valuable to scientists, and if humans starting driving cars and all sorts of damage it could potentially destroy them, but back to them animals. Not only are the animals and plants important to us they are important to other animals. For example, in a Sahara desert food chain, if one producer such as a Cypress Tree was extinct it will put a significant impact on the whole food web and can also cause the animals which rely on the plant itself to go extinct, in serious cases. This means various plants and animals rely on each other and if one major one is removed the whole group would suffer. The animals in the Sahara are important to us because of reasons like learning, research and to generally enjoy. Scientists study fascinating animals such as the Egyptian Tortoise and many more. Some people in the Sahara even rely on Camels for transport and not having Camels to carry us will be dreadful. These animals also amazing to witness and to learn about them will help you out in the future. But, if the Sahara desert animals become extinct these privileges will be provoked from us and the Sahara will just be an empty dry desert, and not even considered an ecosystem. This is why we need to protect the Sahara Desert animals so they can accompany us for many years to come, and help us with our research and for our transportation and to generally witness and learn new things.
